It is Outdoor Wednesday time! My husband and I visited Panola Mountain State Park in Stockbridge, Georgia last week. This is a lovely park! This park has paved biking and walking trails, a fitness trail, a beautiful lake area, picnic shelters, a playground, and a wonderful nature center. We went on a five mile walk on the paved trail around the lake. There is a 3.5 mile hike to the mountain, but you need to make reservations for that one. Panola Mountain is a 100-acre granite outcrop very similar to Stone Mountain. We had a wonderful time and hope to return to try the archery range and tree climbing!
