Sunday's Thoughts

Happy Mother's Day!

"Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward,Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,So are the children of one's youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them: They shall not be ashamed, But shall speak with their enemies in the gate." Psalm 127:3-5

How do you like to go up in a swing, Up in the air so blue? "Oh, I do think it the pleasantest thing Ever a child can do!"

"Up in the air and over the wall, Till I can see so wide, Rivers and trees and cattle and all Over the countryside-

"Till I look down on the garden green Down on the roof so brown- Up in the air I go flying again, Up in the air and down!"

Robert Louis Stevenson

Have a blessed Lord's Day!

Very cool poem! I liked that. And I especially love the scripture! It's one of my very favorites.
I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!
Blessings to you!
